Our Approach
What We Do
We use the power of storytelling to increase awareness of the health inequities faced by Nigerians, particularly the most vulnerable amongst us. By telling the narrative of people and their stories, amplifying the voices of women and children in rural communities and underserved areas we aim to promote access to quality health care for all.
There is an urgent need to increase public spending on healthcare provision and services in Nigeria in order to provide adequate financial protection to those who are most in need of it. By increasing awareness on the barriers faced by individuals when accessing care and providing information on how to reduce existing health inequities, this will help to enhance better healthcare related policy initiatives aimed at reducing health inequities.
Our Approach
As an organization, we want to avoid taking a “hit and run” approach to development, instead focusing on longer-term objectives and ensuring a lasting impact within the communities we work with. We aim to promote a hands-off approach to sustainability, with a multiplier effect to ensure that the impact of our work is felt across the communities we work with.
Within our work, we strive to take a community centred approach to build capacity for community change through collaborative partnerships and ensure we are community and beneficiary led.
